Frequently Asked Questions

Fertility-FIT is a programme that includes the provision of a supplement. The Fertility-FIT programme takes a 360-degree approach to support individuals on their fertility journey. It aims to increase the chances of natural conception by addressing underlying medical conditions, as well as focusing on mental fitness and reprogramming, body systems and physiology, and then logistical practicalities of health such as nutrition and hydration, physical activity, mental health, interpersonal relationships, sexual health, and behaviours, sleep, breathing, light exposure, and electromagnetism. This approach sets it apart from other fertility solutions, making it a unique and effective choice for those seeking support on their fertility journey.

The Fertility-FIT programme is designed to help individuals and couples optimise their reproductive health and increase the chances of natural conception, whether they are proactively managing their reproductive health or facing fertility challenges. The peak age for optimal fertility outcomes varies for individuals, but generally, women in their twenties tend to have the highest fertility rates.

The Fertility-FIT programme is available internationally. Consultations happen over Zoom. You will need to connect to a computer with a working webcam, microphone, and speaker.

We have a comprehensive data protection policy and we function in line with the POPI Act. All patient information will be stored digitally. The company has obtained certification from the ICO and we do comply with the regulations set forth by the GDPR regarding the processing and protection of personal data.

Yes, Fertility-FIT is designed to support individuals proactively managing reproductive health, not just those facing current fertility challenges.

The programme begins with a 90-minute initial consultation, followed by blood and urine testing, and the development of an individualised strategy plan for the next 6 months. Consultations will occur weekly or biweekly, depending on the selected program plan. Clients also have the opportunity to consult with a Dietitian, General Practitioner, Women's Health Specialist and Personal Trainer to support them on their journey.

The signs of infertility in women may include irregular menstrual cycles, painful periods, hormonal changes, previous reproductive health issues, being underweight (which can affect hormonal balance and interfere with ovulation and fertility), thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, pelvic pain or discomfort, and abnormal cervical mucus.

Certain factors such as a low sperm count (oligospermia), abnormal sperm morphology, poor sperm motility, varicocele, hormonal imbalances, genetic factors like Klinefelter syndrome or Y chromosome deletions, as well as medical histories such as previous surgeries, injuries, or infections of the reproductive organs, can all potentially impact male fertility. This combination of influences underscores how each aspect of male reproductive health can trigger a chain reaction, affecting other physiological functions and highlighting the interconnectedness of the body's systems.

Fertility-FIT can assist you in transitioning off the pill. By joining the programme, you'll work closely with Health+ Coaches, including a specialist in women's health, as well as medical professionals, who will provide personalised guidance and support throughout the process.
